The CPR FILTERSHIELD contains features that set it apart from all other filter barriers. The 2 cm airway tunnel acts as a bite block assisting the rescuer in maintaining an open airway when performing the head-tilt, chin-lift maneuver. The 2 cm airway tunnel is compatible with child, as well as adult CPR. The barrier is made of durable, clear material which allows the rescuer to monitor the patient’s mouth for vomitus material.

This unique design offers a recessed filter with a grate on both sides of the filter. The rescuer side grate helps to keep the rescuer from coming in contact with the filter. The patient side grate helps to stop larger vomitus material from contacting the filter.

The CPR FILTERSHIELD is packaged in a tamper evident pouch which offers the assurance of a clean device in a resealable pouch. The package is a tough polyethylene bag with a zipper type closure allowing the rescuer to become familiar with the device yet keep it in a clean reclosable pouch.
