Using glottic guide, insert S.A.L.T. into the patient's oropharynx, grasp the proximal end of the S.A.L.T. and advance the airway. Stop advancing when resistance is encountered, indicating the
S.A.L.T. is against the corniculate cartilage and/or the depth indicator ring rests against the lips or gumline. Introduce endotracheal tube into S.A.L.T. ventilate like an OPA, stopping at appropriate depth. Verify tube placement. Secure using provided clamp and strap. Re-verify tube placement.
